What's Going on In Science Class:
The past couple weeks the fourth grade class at Lower Mills has talk
their learning beyond the stratosphere. We have rocketed into outer
space to learn more about our solar system, especially the planets.
Our learning has been expanded with the help of our wonderful art
teacher Miss. D, who has entered the fourth grade into the University of Notre Dame's living world space art contest. The contest asks students to create original artwork to illustrate how alien life forms may have adapted to their unusual environments in which they live. With this contest students learned about Evolution and adaption the discovery of planets around other stars and the diversity of life I'm both are planning and beyond. After planning and sketching out their planet and alien creature, we will create a 3D version of their planet in our new Science Lab.
