Dear SJP 4th Grade Families,
It is with great delight we welcome you and your children to a wonderful school year! One of our first class activities was discussing out Hopes and Dreams. When discussing our Hopes and Dreams for the year, it was a delight to see so many of our students with high academic in personal goals. Notes for the Week: In your child's folder you will find a Survey that we are asking the parents or guardians to fill out to help us get to know their child better. These surveys are due back Friday, September 18. As a reminder back to school night has been postponed to a later date. Once we have more information about it, we will let you know. Many of our students have been asking about being able to take the bus. According to Ms. Betty in the office only two students in the whole school have turned in paperwork to be able to ride the bus. We have asked her to send along extra copies of the form to fill out when we receive them I'll send them right home. It is extremely important that we receive all of your child emergency contact, and medical information along with any other information the school has sent home. We would like to remind you to visit our classes website you can do so by going to the PJP lower Mills school website and clicking on classroom links. Week 2:
September 16, 2015 Hello 4th Grade Families, It’s week one and we have hit the ground running! Fourth Grade is a very special time for our students. They are asked to take on more responsibilities, are held to higher expectations and asked to be more independent. As teachers and family members, it is our job to guide the children though these changes. The family-teacher relationship needs to be one built on open communication, and we have added a few different components to our classroom to strengthen this communication.
